Parents buy and sell quality secondhand baby gear nearby, in a simple app built around trust.

Buying secondhand baby gear used to mean messy listings and sellers you couldn't be sure of. We built a marketplace with location-based listings, seller reviews and secure in-app chat, so parents can buy and sell with confidence. After launch, downloads rose 45%, premium memberships grew 25% and referrals grew 65%.

## Features

- Easy listing and browsing: add, update and remove items, sorted into clear categories.
- Several high-resolution photos per item, so buyers can see the condition clearly.
- Chat with sellers in the app to check details and arrange a purchase.
- Search filters for location, category, price range and brand.

## Challenges

- Finding specific items meant sifting through cluttered online marketplaces or garage sales.
- Worries about product condition and seller reliability held people back.
- Without one central platform, it was hard to find local sellers.

## Solutions

- Location-based listings: find baby essentials nearby, with less need for shipping.
- Seller reviews and ratings: buyers rate and comment on each purchase, building trust in the community.
- Secure in-app messaging: talk to sellers without sharing personal contact details in public listings.

## Impact

- 45% surge in app downloads as more parents chose secondhand.
- 25% rise in premium memberships for exclusive deals and features.
- 65% growth in user referrals, driven by positive reviews.
