Damru is a small helper that lives at the top of your screen. Bring your own AI, say its name, and get through your day with fewer windows and fewer interruptions. Coming soon to desktop, starting with Linux. ## Named after the first sound. The damru is the small hourglass drum of Lord Shiva. In Indian tradition, its beat is the first sound of creation: the rhythm that set everything in motion. We gave our helper the same job. Be the first sound of your workday, and get everything moving. Say it DUM-roo. We named it after the drum, a symbol, rather than a sacred name, so the meaning is kept with respect. ## Always there, never in the way - It waits at the top of your screen. A small tab with Damru peeking out. Nothing pops up over your work. - It taps you only when it matters.
